Gift-giving activity. Major General Ruperto "Raffy" Pabustan and his staff visited and brought gifts to Jason Brul (aka Ka Butch), the Front Committee Secretary of FC 79 if the CPP-NPA in Sorsogon and Elmer Escobido (aka Ka Alvin). Both were wounded in a gunbattle with government forces in Bgy San Isidro, Barcelona, Sorsogon on December 7, 2010 at 5:30am. General Pabustan likewise promised to Jason and his family that the Philippine Army will help him in any way possible.
