A contingent of 9ID serving as "voyadores" and carrying the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia (Ina kan Rehiyon Bikol) during the Traslacion Procession last September 11, 2009 afternoon while other military personnel acted as crowd control and security.
*(The Traslacion is the transferring of the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia from Penafrancia church to the Metropolitan Cathedral, St. John the Baptist Cathedral. It commences the week-long festivity of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, the patroness of Bicol region.)
The image of Ina arrives at the St. John the Baptist Cathedral over a waiting huge crowd. Her image will be displayed for a week until September 19 before it is returned to Peñafrancia church.Related Links:
